i dont think all that highly of that album, or even the notorious thugs song - which is overrated as f*ck.

Notorious Thugs ain’t overrated AT ALL. Biggie’s attempt at a “double time” flow is overrated. But the verse was still dope and the song is classic.
Just look at how this kid reacts to it.

I know bone appeared as a group on notorious thugs but bizzy bone had the best guest verse alone. He showed that there was levels within his own group.

The constant switching of his flow, speed of his raps and pitch of his voice/cadence simultaneously is a level unattainable by any rapper in existence.. krayzie sounded like he phoned it in after hearing bizzy shyt all over the track and layzie tried but it wasn't enough. biggie did a standard paint by numbers speed flow after taking the track home to study bone.. thats all he could come up with.

Its like Bizzy didn't tell these nikkas they were playing on hall of fame that day. To add to the legend Bizzy supposedly recorded his verse in one take and left the studio and went in the car and passed out due to being so high/drunk

song was dope but not some all-time classic. i dont care how some kid who wasnt even alive is reacting to it.

there was better bone-related chit out at the time on their side-projects.
