Yup...he caved to the big banks, and certainly didn't go as far as we left-of-center folks would like. But when you stand back and look at it soberly, he accomplished a lot legislatively in terms of setting the groundwork for structural long-term change.
Healthcare reform, financial reform (it was weak but hopefully a starting point), the stimulus and the energy investments in it, race to the top, credit card reform, cutting the middleman out of student loans, saving the auto industry. That's one if the most accomplished first terms in history. And he did it with zero opposition party support during a massive recession.
But some stupid motherfukkers who post here say stuff like "he didn't accomplish shyt," Clinton made the economy good and he didn't, and "at least Bush sent me a check."
