Who else is watching Catastrophe on Amazon Prime?

It was the same way with season 1

It aired in the UK first and then got picked up by Amazon after that

Im pretty sure Amazon will get season 2 after it airs in the UK

They do that with UK shows. The Fall, Broadchurch, Downton Abbey and all those "masterpiece theatre" shows all air in the UK months before the US. For example, Downton Abbey just ended its season on Sunday, but it won't even start in the US until January.

watched episode 1 and it was cool and all but its definitely a different show with the time jump and them having 2 kids now

I kinda feel you on that. I did enjoy the reveal of the time jump, with their kid walking in, but after that I was like... oh...

It's still funny though, but I think the humour of dude going from America to London for a chick he knocked up is now gone with the jump in time.

I think it would have actually been a little more interesting if in this time jump they actually moved to America and made this season about an Irish woman, barely understood and when she is understood, considered rude, living in like Chicago or Boston or something.

episode 3 of season 2 came on yesterday

Just watched the first two episodes of season 2. So far it's meh. Not as good as season one. There are some funny parts though.

Just finished episode 6 of the second season, which I think was the finale. Overall an alright season. A little worse than season 1, but still good at times. 7.5/10
