Overall I gotta give it to kush. Producing fire is coo too. Sincere always comes correct, killspray is dope clanarchy is rza jr. DBR trap maestro. Its a lot of talent here.

I think I by far have the best ear for samples but my mixes and drums be straight :sadcam: sometimes. when I make a track where it all meshes tho it sounds like heave :blessed:

Aight, since I consider this subforum as a continuation of SOHH's Beat Club, here are my top three in no particular order:
  • Nabs
  • Macado
  • Seige
Those three simultaneously make me want to quit and try harder at the same time.

anybody ever hear from nabs? dude just disappeared a few years ago.

there's a gang of talent in this trick, mayne. I'm terrible with names, but still. the best thing about it is, when I hear some dope sh*t y'all put together, I'm firing up Logic and hittin' the boards HARD. It's like free inspiration.

and what's more, y'all all got different styles, influences, aspirations, and techniques. a dude can learn from each and every last one of y'all cuz you come with it from a different angle.

props

There are a lot of talented dudes on this forum, just go through the beat battles and you'll hear it. There are a couple dudes on here that really great in certain areas that always make me go :ohhh:when I hear beats from them. I.E DBR with the Trap beats. KushSkywalker with his drum work. Tek with his sampled joints.

My favorites on here that I always listen to: DBR, Michael White, KushSkywalker, Zeus, Tek, Akademik

Just go through the sticky thread at the top of this forum, where everyone drops stuff for feedback.

Too many to name...RIP to the Beat Battles...:to: there were some AMAZING tracks dropped throughout EVERY tourney. Learned so much from you gentlemen :salute:

update ya sig breh :laff:

Yall r sick with the samples not many people out here still doing it like yall do. I gotta give u props for doing what u wanna do instead of pandering to the masses an making generic trap or something.

In general i feel like i wronged the hell outta yall, like that was some dirty shyt to say. I hope yall forgive me :snoop:

It's all good bro. Music production is more so a community of people trying to get better at their craft no matter the level they are at. Always aiming towards a higher level. While respecting everyone. We all are always trying to improve. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the coli that respects all the producers here. Because at the end of the day we are all aiming to be better than we were prior. Like Todd said, having confidence in yourself is a good thing.

No problem over here fam you can see I voted for you the other day in the original (violin) theme battle.

Depending on the vibe you are going for, samples beats can be pretty easy to come up with and don't have to be technical to be dope, other times they can really make you work the creative juices, for example the Pokemon beat battle we had recently, that one had me stumped for a while thinking how to get round the limitations of usable elements.
I'm not too concerned myself how technical I get with things, as at the end of the day I'm just making the shyt I like to hear, which is why u won't hear me changing my style anytime soon.

Yea i fukk with ur shyt heeaavvyyy man. What gets me about u is your mixes are so powerful. Like u got these drums marching with these huge epic samples, it just sounds really refined. Sry if im gettin people mixed up but alot of yall got that type of style.

Idk how to get my shyt to sound crisp without causing distortion when u export it. I have one song that is awesome in fl studio but in my car it almost blew my speakers out. Im not a expert on mastering for sure

I've watched all kinds of tutorials on mixing etc but I basically ignore the rulebook and just do it by ear. I got no monitors or nothing, most my beats are made on my travels in the car anyway, so I'm used to winging it :russ:

You definitely up there too breh, it's just I be forgetting about you since you don't post in here as much as you used to. You had some heat in that first tourney.

Clanarchy ain't even new breh. He been posting around here for over a year, it's just that he's been doing a lot of the sample challenges lately so dudes are seeing more of him.
