What's funny is he actually had a much better year in ring in 96
It's about more than that tho. And hhh had better matches in 00 than Shawn in 96

HBK still owned 96 and plud his title Reigns in 96 were similar to hunter's title reigns in 2000.

Both Foley matches are classics and among probably my most rewatched matches, and his matches with the Rock are on equal footing.
There’s no matches of HBK’s I go back and rewatch from 96, minus the Iron Man with Bret which I’ve always been torn on, and Mind Games with Mankind. Everything else to me was good but not great
