What does that have to do with anything? Your whole post sounds stupid.

"Neither are 1st options but lets trade them for a bonafide star":heh:

You want to build on the momentum by trading 1 of the main pieces instead of adding. :mindblown:

They got 4th seed, how is that not co-existing? Lay down the pipe

it was a fluke season. They aren’t a true 4 seed. They overachieved

The rest of the East is only getting better

Knicks need to get better or invest in the future not bank on the players that got them basically swept in the first round

plus seems like most knicks fans aren’t sold on both Randle and RJ long term

Your team doesn't have the luxury to move on like that, you move on and go back to being a tanking team. They need more seasons like this if they want to be attractive to free agents. If you had LeBron coming and said I want better players, you can move on. You want to move on with no actual plan. If Randle and RJ can get you to playoffs, most fans will take that over tanking.

RJ is young, he improved from last year. Randle takes the pressure of him, by the time RJ will be worth anything, Randle most likely wont be on the team. Your team is competitive, and developing RJ, Quickley, Mitchell. You can add more pieces to that through FA with the max cap space available too, Knicks are in good position.

The only criticism is their scouting who has missed out on a lot of good talent in draft.

:what: RJ only 20

they can coexist, but they need more firepower around them

they both have slow and predicable, ball dominant, un athletic games

not to mention streaky shooters

I like who the Knicks currently have as supporting cast. Maybe even Knox and Frank can still develop into something

They maybe need 1 more shooter which they can get easy

but they still need that superstar 1st option player.

Keep both for now, but it's clear that Randle shouldn't be your teams best player. The biggest issue the Knicks are facing, is that they have the cap space, but theres no legit franchise players in FA for the next 2-3 years.

Best plan for NY, would be to keep your assets, and hopefully be in a position for a Embiid or Lilliard trade in the coming years.

You keep both. Randle had a bad series but he was an all-star and rightfully so. You don't trade young all-stars after 1 bad series. That's dumb as shyt.

the goal is to move up in the draft and get a real star that’ll fit better with the Knicks young core and just build from there

or get an experienced PG

Knicks are going nowhere with RJ and Randle as their best 2 players

Breh I’m extremely disappointed in Randle and Thibs bullock but stop acting like winning 40.+ games and bring the fourth seed is nothing! the Knicks weren’t expected to be anything but a lotto team this season . we really were another competent pg away from 4-5 extra wins
