I get the 'they still need to win a playoff game first' talk but I certainly wouldn't use last season as a scale (or seasons past for that matter - based on the fact they're a more complete and experienced unit - not on some first round hex shyt), since they had a # of injuries to both offensive and defensive personnel and didn't have A.J. and Gresham against the Colts.

Bad head coach. I like Marvin but he's sorta like a Doug Collins. Good to get you to a certain point but not gonna get you over the hump. If/when Sean Payton gets canned from NO, he'd be a great hire there(or in Indy).

way too fukking early. Remember when everyone said they were taking out the pats home last season? :mjlol:

They beat:

Raiders, shytty as Chiefs at home where they demolish everybody, mediocre ravens team and chargers. Nothing impressive at all.

Seahawks are gonna beat them this weekend. 23 - 13 final score

I can confirm. Miami gonna beat the Jets 27-14 last weekend.:shaq:

Over the past 7-8 years we've actually built a good team mainly our d and o lines through draft picks.

We have great talent at every skill position, Andy is looking good so far and the sky is the limit for us.

Our owner is now realizing he has to spend to keep this successful team together so that's definitely helping us.

Outside of QB and head coach, they're the best team in the league IMHO

I get that too, except that sometimes we look for things to blame (in this case Marvin) when they're not the actual cause. Injuries, lack of experience, lack of a proper offensive/defensive balance, lack of playmakers in vital positions, luck, playoff-window momentum etc etc - it's the proverbial 'lighting in a bottle' that you need in a league like this; and as we all know it doesn't come around too often.

Seahawks haven't been looking too good either. Their wins have come against worse teams ( bears without cutler and the lions) and they're a fumble gate away from being 1-3.

:jbhmm: This is true, but I trust seahawks more than the bungles

Eifert is certainly a nice addition (they need to use him more), and they're getting great use out of both RBs. I can't totally agree with your assessment as Jones and Sanu are wildly inconsistent from week to week--although as long as one of them shows up each week I guess that's enough. Defense is still above-average and talented.

:manny: Really if it doesn't happen this year, it never will.
