Who brought Islam to the Moors?

I never thought about it like the OP. Why weren’t there Christian or Jewish moors?

Moor is typical synonymous with Muslim

I might be wrong, but "Moor" is a term pertaining to a geographical origin. There probably were Jewish Moors, since there were Jews in Spain who fled to Northern Africa during La Reconquista. Just like there are Jewish Berbers today.

It’s interesting how Arabs never conquered Ethiopia and Islam didn’t really spread there to overtake orthodox Christianity and Judaism. But they were successful pretty much everywhere else in North Africa

IIRC Muslims were offred refuge early on by the Ethiopian Christian Kingdom, and hence Ethiopia was "off limts" regarding military conquests.
