Lowkey that's why I wanted an order lol.@FreshAIG I think we need to do a tournament or a poll based on the most frequently listed so we can have a legitimate top 10 or maybe even 25 depending on the case
Cam is the hardest one lol, because his personality and antics and some of the silly shyt he says in songs has a lot of people convinced he isn’t really a rapper like that. But Cam’ron is a top tier lyricist who does and says a whole lot of wildly creative shyt that if it came in a different package he would be on a lot of people’s GOAT lists.Cam does the multi-syllable rhyme so effortless, it doesn’t even sound like he’s trying. And he does it in a way where it all makes sense…not just superfluous “rappity rap” gymnastics. Very underrated lyricist on paper.
- Jay Z
- Biggie
- Prodigy
- Scarface
- Common
- Beanie Siegel
- Nas (not Lil Nas X)
- Lupe (only his first 2)
- Ice Cube
- Camron/50 cent
Facts. I don't think he sits with the records, I think he just writes the shyt in the studio in a set amount of time and bounces, I remember hearing him say he hates being in the studio. Dudes like Lupe, Royce, etc... be working on verses and records for months at a time and shyt like that, madd fine tuning and improving, Lupe said he's been working on "Skulls" for years and years and years now...Nas isn't that type of writer/rapper...I wish he was.I feel Nas never even went FULL steam..i can hear there's higher gears there.
No chance....I can't think of one's ongoing remotely on the same level as One Mic.Cam is the hardest one lol, because his personality and antics and some of the silly shyt he says in songs has a lot of people convinced he isn’t really a rapper like that. But Cam’ron is a top tier lyricist who does and says a whole lot of wildly creative shyt that if it came in a different package he would be on a lot of people’s GOAT lists.
