This team is way better than I imagined they would be. Only 2.5 back of indians.

They got a shyt ton of pitching prospects after drafting Mize.

Mize, Manning, Perez, Faedo, Burrows all top 100 prospects.

Only bad part about team is Miggy and zimmerman. Vmart contract is gone after this season and hopefully Stewart gets called up

Wheels coming off or not they still need to be trading whoever they can off this roster.

They should, but seeing what Avila got back for Verlander and Upton last year...I don't have high hopes for any returns.

They (predictably) missed the boat on cashing in on Fulmer too.

Farm system was terrible before Avila took over. He’s done a decent job of getting some prospects. They definitely shoulda dealt fulmer last year.

No team will touch cabrera or Zimmermann contracts. Only movable players are castanellos or fulmer. Doubt they get much for fulmer at this point. And Castellanos is the only homegrown position player that the tigers have produced in years. I’d be hesitant to trade him when he is finally starting to live up to potential.

Tigers are definitely still in rebuild but it might not take as long a initially thought to bounce back to a contender
