OG is a superior player on both ends, fills the “big wing” hole that we’ve been having, is also on a shorter term deal with team options on his next two seasons at a cheap price (17-19M vs. 23-30M for Barrett once his extension kicks in) , and has legitimate untapped potential that could be unlocked with more center focus as he hits the prime of his career.

OG is the Sub ForwardIf we get OG, I really don’t want RJ on this team and burying Grimes who is the better player and better fit.
OG is going to come in and be the third wing, there is an argument RJ could come off the bench, but considering how injury prone OG is (he’s never played 70 games in his career and missed the entire playoffs they won a chip) if Thibs replaces RJ’s minutes with OG he’s going to fukk OG up. If anything OG having a guaranteed 25 minutes a night is the best thing that could happen to his career and RJ/Randles health since that keeps their minutes in the 35 minute a night range.What?

Then just to add to that I could see drafting a large playmaking guard like Burks and I think the starters and bench are fixed and the team is set long term to be a playoff team. I’m going to use Burks as a placeholder but I honestly expect them to go younger as a way to lock someone in their long term.

Why the hell would OG be the one coming off the bench when it will be noticeable to anyone that he is superior to Barrett and should be starting?
You're right OG is injury prone and that is not something I considered (although I would still gladly trade Barrett, three whole picks is too steep though). As for the minutes thing. OG has averaged 36 minutes per game over the last two seasons which is more than what Barrett has been playing under Thibs.
