He’s not on the trade market. The Knicks should look to draft a player that fits that mold. A Mikal Bridges/Trevor Ariza/Tayshaun Prince type wing. Basically they need a 7 foot plus wingspan and can defend, and are not a liability on offense.

For once the draft should have a few guys like this. It would be way easier for them to get that through the draft, maybe hit Crawford with a MLE and set the kid up to outplay the vet like all the rest of the youth has since this current regime has been drafting.

That’s not going to put us over the top. Absolute best case scenario, we draft a guy who turns into a superstar in 4 years. By then, Brunson and Randle will be exiting their primes. We’re exactly where the Raptors were pre kawhi. We need a star. I think a tough second round exit this season will have players eyeing us again.
