Julius is slowly putting together one of the better individual seasons in Knicks history

Toronto has been doing this all year they been mediocre this year (not too late for them tho) but they’ve had that tendency to turn up late forcing steals, hitting crazy threes

Toronto is still a very talented team

Trent Jr. was hitting crazy threes like that vs. Milwaukee. VanVleet is rangy and has tendency to make crazy threes.

I feel we moved the ball extremely well this game mostly good looks.

Another 2 missed FT's in the final minute of action. If they tighten up the free throws, they'll have everything they need to close teams out. But this free throw issue is annoying.

He won’t get much praise but this game was really won by Immanuel Quickley at the end of the third and the start of fourth. He pushed our lead from 1 to 11 by scoring and dishing on 10 straight points. He’s really taking control of that bench unit.

Also Quickley three point shooting is why Thibs felt comfortable with Brunson going 1-4-1 on that last play. No way Trent was leaving IQ to help van fleet on Brunson

Grimey’s first step is lightning and he is a fantastic interior passer.

Does this blow by rate indicate that Grimey has the quickest first step in the league?

I don't think so but I wouldn't doubt if he has the fastest first step. He's also super quick in the open court & exploding to the basket

The Raptors like to trap and switch a lot and they get burned a lot because of it. Tonight we made them pay for it. Thibs made some nice in game adjustments too, I liked that he went Hart/Mitch for a good stretch too, It exploited the defense the Raptors were playing and we killed them on the boards.

It's time to admit brehs, Thibs is still a good coach.
