That first half was absolutely terribleGrant with 28 fukking free throw attempts what the fukk was that? I'm absolutely convinced the refs had money on that, that was a terribly officiated game.
I don’t mind Barrett being inefficient I’ve chalked it up to he’s going to have good days and bad days, but I can’t have him be inefficient playing the most minutes and taking the most shots with 22 while shooting 26 percent.
Thibs is trying to make him roll with the second unit and maybe that will help.
Again you hope he picks it up in December or January but this is 6 out of 7 games now he’s shooting under 32 percent. Time is running out.
You're more patient and optimistic than I and most others on here are in regards to Barrett.
I held out for awhile too but the start of this season just has me completely thrown off with dude. Year 4 and same issues we've been seeing since Yr 1 still present. Sloppy handles, turnover prone, can't finish around the rim to save his life, poor shooting, etc.
Aside from being a Knicks fan how do you still have any hope for RJ? It's been asked before a few times in this thread and no one can provide an answer, what exactly does Barrett do well? His defense used to be something you can point to and say well at least he holds his own on that end but you can't even say that anymore. He's not Randle or Fournier bad but this season he's had some stinkers on that side of the ball as well.
Seriously, what does this guy do well?
This isn't even hyperbole. He needs to go to the bench and find his game there, it might be the one thing that saves his career.RJ doesn’t just look bad he looks like the worst player in the league
