This is honestly a cheating scandal, though the Knicks did them the favor of saying they wanted the Knicks plays so they could copy their system.

Which makes sense because while Thibs is flawed on the player management side, he’s better than most on the X and O’s.

From what I've read, it was just plain sloppy with how he shared the info. I wanna see how the Raptors respond to the allegations & how they spin their take

He sent it from his Knicks email address to a colleague at the raptors email address.


The fact they still hasn’t makes me think
1. Masai wasn’t involved and they are doing and investigation to see how bad it is
2. It’s bad from jump, so you don’t want to say anything that can be used to incriminate you. shyt you might say nothing because a lawsuit doesn’t immediately need a press release to respond. This is a real world issue not a sport issue.
3. We still haven’t heard how much they are suing for but considering it’s Dolan and he is actually competent at suing I expect it to be a fukking lot.

All of them involved were just plain stupid lol. Having Raptors employees accessing his Knicks data via his account........like that can't be traced.......

I'm glad Dolan is suing, I'm tired of Silver's bullshyt when Knicks are involved.

Cuban and Mavs openly stole Knicks pick and pissed on Silver's precious play-in tournament and he just gave then a slap on the wrist

The issue is the Knicks pick certain clips of videos to emphasize, make notes and plans for each other attached to those notes. It’s basically the equivalent of salesforce with their data in it. It includes Knicks play calls

The main thing which is fishy is they downloaded the Knicks file on the raptors players. Basically getting the scouting report the Knicks had on them is a clear unfair advantage. It’s for all intents and purposes what the Astros did. With that info the likelihood is they would have won more games against the Knicks than not.

The fact the Knicks took this to a lawsuit is because they can. It’s corporate espionage. The way the Knicks did this is interesting because from what we heard the Raptors initially treated it like it was a league thing, didn’t lawyer up, and responded they would do an internal investigation.

Had a really bad game shooting wise but was great defensively, on the boards, and creating for others

He was a huge part of keying the run that saw Canada take over the game in the 2nd half
