Lol 50 mil for Donte is an overpay. He's a good role player. Knicks can't help but overpay role players yet again.

It's an overpay in theory but Gabe Vincent got 3/33 and Max Strus got 4/63 so this is kinda just the market for role players now

Vincent not overpay though. Easily tradeable contract with just 3 years on. Donte has 3 series in a row where he shot poorly and Bucks weren't missing him when they won their championship, while he was out for the playoffs. I'd take Vincent at 33 mil over Donte's 50 mil anytime.

Vincent had a hot playoffs but didnt do a damn thing in the regular season. He also does nothing else but shoot. Donte is better everywhere including shooting

Donte is better and $50M ain’t shyt in today’s market for him. The problem is we have a lot of guys who are 6’3-6’5 but I’m sure we’ll pick up some other vet to be a back up wing.

Vincent typical overrated off playoff moments the Lakers are really going to miss Shroeder’s ball pressure and full court defense.

$12.5M a year for Donte is not an overpay he can legit do a lil bit of everything on the floor.

How is $12.5M an overpay that’s a guy who can legit slide in as a starter if needed and give you 12-15 points, 5 boards, 5 dimes, 2 steals.

Donte is on a good deal I consider it a value signing. Since Thibs likes his 9 man rotations I'm assuming Hart and Barrett will split time at the back up 4 spot.
