Watch some of his interviews, especially his older ones back when the Jeezy situation was big. Listen to how he talks about his family, his business ventures, Jeezy himself. It's very clear he has very well developed ideas about all of these things, and notwithstanding his thick accent, he's actually very well spoken.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but Gucci is leaps and bounds more thoughtful of a person than most trap artists out there. Not to mention he has a very sharp business mind.

I'm surprised you Budden, I thought I was one of very few who thought so also.

He might be a clown at times, but there's something there. Ross is an interesting pick. I think he's good at manipulating how people perceive him... which is to some degree a sign of intelligence, or at least awareness.

Joe Budden, Twitter persona aside, definitely is a bright dude. I've heard a few interviews with Ross where you can hear how intelligent and insightful he is, but he switches back to his "nahmsayin'" mode when it starts seeping out too much. Gotta be a smart guy to keep up an act this long.

There are few people with talent even fewer Geniuses.
Talent is when your really good at something.
Genius pushes bounderies and breaks rules. They can produce something we have never seen before and/or take it to another level.
Also Geniuses get hated/ on by the mediocre for not playing it safe. (Steve Jobs)
Also they seem to be a little crazy.
Kanye West is a Genius. (Changed radio, made albums that inovated the traditional Rap album-MBDTF.

I agree with this. And it comes across as genuine as opposed to someone like Jeezy.
Now, Jeezy isn't a dumb guy, but his "deep thinking" comes across as quite forced and contrived.
