They ran into people like Terminus and the hospital group, they were organized but too be honest they should stayed in the hospital . That group had medicine, trained cops and food and gas. When they killed Dawn they could tried to come too terms with them or something because that place way better than Alexandria .

Both of those were in GA. They drove clear across four states and never encountered anything like Negan. Now all of a sudden there's a ZA empire?

I agree. I would have liked it if we got Savage Rick right up until Negan beat the fukk outta somebody. We should have had somebody get bodied by Negan (Glenn) and then somebody try to step up and catch a bullet (Abe). Then cut back to Savage Rick and see him morph in to Shook Rick right before it goes blank.

Their plea copping was so stupid too, they tried to claim the scene was more about breaking Rick than it was Negan, that would have made sense had they filmed the beating with Rick looking at it and you hearing the screams. They could have done the POV shyt for the first swing, then cut to Rick looking like and hearing his people scream as he's just there frozen as the camera slowly zooms in on him and you hear Negan say "Taking it like a champ"

if i had to guess, seems like the season 7 premiere will replay this scene in similar fashion, possibly different view/perspective/angle and you will see who gets their head smashed in. Unfortunately, AMC really fukked this up with this cliffhanger bullshyt. I read earlier today , that the writers/director(or whoever's dumbass decided on this) stated that this was the best way to end this episode for storyline purposes, and they didnt want to upset comic book fans if they chose a different death from Glenn, or upset non CB fans if they stuck with Glenn and preferred someone else for the element of surprise. but these morons pretty much upset every single fan with their stupidity and ruined JDM portrayal as Negan(which was infukkincredible)

Changed my mind....last scene is almost a carbon copy of what happens in the comics besides how they get caught. Negan's intro, dialogue, everything except the cursing.

I think the thing to keep in mind is that AMC has complete control over TWD, unlike Breaking Bad and Mad Men, which were produced by Sony and Lionsgate.

The people at AMC, along with the show runner and Kirkman probably legit didn't plan this far ahead as to who would be killed. Plus, AMC doesn't want lose any ratings so they won't be killing off any fan favorites I don't think.

Breaking Bad and Mad Men, might not have had the ratings, but they were critically acclaimed and brought AMC a level of prestige they hadn't had before.

With TWD, all it has is ratings, so I think the people over at AMC are thinking carefully about this "who got killed" bullshyt.
