ExactlyReading through this thread I'm starting to realize alot of people actually like the bullshyt aspects of this show. By bullshyt I mean it seems like some people wanting the group to just pull a 'somebody lunges Negan and the gang starts punching bad guys and they make an escape'. People even mad that Rick's bytch ass is humbled. Rick has been the worst leader he's just been lucking his way through shyt and getting alot of people killed because of his plans. Now he's not just going to luck his way through shyt. He's starting to realize he's not that smart. Couldn't just make a deal and join up, nope gotta fight shyt just to fight. "Rick would never knee"....they were completely outmanned and outgunned. And not by a few, they all were going to die if they tried to poke they chest out.

Do you not realize he was outnumbered by at least 50-60 people? He was shook because he finally realized what was happening and what he had gotten them into, he wasn't going to risk Carl's life just to look like a badass one more time.that was the worst part of the episode to me. they completely turned rick into a straight bytch. they've been in similar situations before and rick stayed strong. how can the crew even look at him the same anymore with the way he was acting?....even when negan asked who the leader was rick kept his head down shaking like a p*ssy......normally rick wouldn't have hesitated to step up. it makes no sense. what was the point of making rick look like such a bytch here?....dude was literally SHAKING in his boots

The people from Jesus' camp literally said they made a deal and The Saviors killed some kid anyway. They don't just "make deals" without killing somebody. That's why Rick went after them in the first place.

People are really tearing this finale a new one.. They really did ruin the moment though. The emotions aren't gonna be the same 7 months from now. A main character dying in that way and the group having to watch and hear it while being able to do nothing about it would've been scarring to people. Instead now people are scarred by a writing device, the cliffhanger. Instead of discussing the show and who died people are discussing the writing. You know you fukked up when you pull people out of the story like that.
This is gonna be a good watch for the binge watchers 2 or 3 years from now on Netflix when they can just immediately go on to S07. Similar to how people who watched s02 live hated it but people who binged it later loved it. But I swear if they start s07 off in a completely different scene doing all the flashbacks and flash forwards and we still don't immediately know who dies I'm done, lol. Cause that is some shyt they'd do when you got the writers on Talking Dead trying to justify a hacky cliffhanger as good writing.
