I actually remember one black guy in college tried to say to me how white women have been oppressed just like black men.

I nearly smacked the black off of him after he said that. Now that I remember, he was a strong advocate for PAWGin so that was his justification for it.

He genuinely felt he had more in common with white women than black women, as they could understand the black man’s struggle more. :what:

I'm not going to watch this video, but did he really agree with this sentiment? If so, some of y'all need to get a fukking grip and get off the internet. How the hell are white women more oppressed than Black women? I don't want to play oppression Olympics, but y'all see a few Black women (aren't representative as a whole) marry whites and suddenly Black women have more clout. WTF? If that were TRULY the case, the first Black woman to have ever been raped, sodomized, etc. would've ended racism at the first chance she had. Black women have absolutely no real political power. I don't care what reasons he provided. Trash statement. Y'all didn't like it when that c00n said Black men were whites of the Black community, so how is this any different?

It is a popular refrain on here. I tell you these types are dangerous.

The brother is basically a comedian, who knows a little bit of African history, and has made some great documentaries about it. If you look at him just like that, you will not stress yourself.

Now, if you expect some coherent and brainy views from him, then i feel bad for you.

The only part i totally like about him, is the fact that he is a family man. Other than that, nothing so special or smart about him.

Just good ol’ traditional family values

None of my black friends have white spouses. I couldn’t be seriously friends with one. Men in those relationships tend to be messed up mentally. I couldn’t seriously be with a woman who doesn’t understand what being black is about.

I remember when Tariq said that years ago and I thought it was crazy.
Same with some of his points on game for trying to get mixed women.

I don't know if he'll ever address that take again but I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to defend it.
I think one of his main flaws is hubris and admitting when he was wrong or off with a take or position.
He'll probably double down on it instead of saying, "Yea, I was on one with that."

I find it funny how folks like pulling up old tweets/articles/videos from years ago to shame others today but get upset when it happens to them.
I don't see anything wrong with being held accountable for shyt that you've said or done in the past. Are you remorseful, evolved or do you feel the same?
