She's not socially intelligent about her word usage.....but then again the people are "colored"/"colorful" on that graphic, and she was trying to describe it. You and the co-worker are on alert, but this is a false alarm, and doesn't require any additional analysis.

I don't know the woman, but from this single email, I don't see malice or sneaky racism.
I wouldn't go to the ends of the earth to put her on a Summer Jam Screen.
You can keep the email if you sense a pattern, but from an outsiders point of view there is a whole lot of reaching as far as saying she is trying to be sneakily passive racist..

Yes. Two of the three recipients in that part of the department are black. They thought it was somewhat funny until I pointed out that it was embarrassing. shyt wasn't funny to me. You can't be saying that in 2017.
