Realistically, they all would be in jail by Season 1 episode 3-4...These nikkas are flagging everywhere they go, still doing shootouts... and riding away in motorcycles.

that's what I'm saying. Wasn't it last season they had a shootout with some other people Revolutionary War like? These nikkas would have been serving 20 years easily. I think they just said fukk it with the writing and trying to see how far they can take it.

With all these other high-profile shows with great writing... maybe he feels he needs to standout somehow?
Just saw the episode... Otto needs to say "fukk the club!" and hang himself, dealing with dem rape goons ain't worth the loyalty.
The first season was good, it had some growing pains setting up the world but it was promising. The 2nd season was a top 5 show that year...
09 my top 5 were 1. Br Ba S02 2. SOA 3.Mad men S02 4. Dexter S04 (Trinity season) 5. Lost S05
There was a lot of good stuff in S02...The Clay vs Jax dynamic. the history they established and also Jax's pops manifesto led to some actual examination of the violence around them. I also thought there was a lot of interesting things to explore with the club's standing in Charming how they were a cancer and also how Charming served as small town USA and some of the stories to tell about modern small towns
The show never reached those heights again, S03 in Ireland had some god moments but none of the Irish characters were interesting. The finale was very good, but it began a major problem with the show in how the law enforcement in the show made no sense. S04 was the worst season, but I thought the show had a chance to redeem itself after Opie's death and having a good adversary in Pope and an interesting character with Nero. The aftermath of Opies death was handled poorly, it was right back to stupid problems for the club to solve. Clay should of died in S04 and so on.
The school shooting could be a great story the cost of the club's business on the community... The investigation into the club after the gun leads back to them. I have little faith that it will be dealt with in an interesting way though

the dynamic of opie of all people backing clay over jax was unexpected
and the gang actually had a worthy adversary, instead of the cartoon character plot devices in seasons 3-5. that lone mexican biker in season 4 i think was wile e coyote level bad
since the season 2 finale, its been straight downhill ever since. so much wasted potential. sutter thinks his shyt dont stink. and peggy bundy is a horrible actress. just read the recap for the premiere... im done with this show
well said. sutter is a douchebag a$$hole. dude thinks his show is on the same level as the sopranos or the wire. whiny bytch who cant take any lil criticism without getting sand in his vagina too. dudes pathetic
They set up a lot of shyt. That's a hell of a lot of plotlines to cover and that ending honestly took me by surprise. I saw the self-harm cuts on his arm but didn't think it go to a school shooting. But I knew the first thing people would think about is Sandy Hook and prepared myself for being annoyed at that.
It worked for me, showing the kid throughout the whole episode at random intervals.
Dave Navarro and his scar look terrible.
I didn't really like Donal Logue going around telling everybody about his sister and his revenge plan. When they introduced him last season I was like
Otto should honestly be dead by now. When he does die, the club should give him a fukking memorial or something. His best moment is still when he fukked up Agent Stahl
It's not the best written show in the world by a long shot and I've been saying that since season 1 but it keeps me interested and I like the characters.
If Kurt would've brought in some of those Shield writers

The kid used a gun that he got from his house (Dava Navarro's character is his dad or his mom's boyfriend or something), the gun is a gun that was provided by The Sons of Anarchy. It sets up to be where Jax is going to be even more adamant that they get out of the gun business because he now has on his conscious that he provided a gun that was used in a school shooting.
