Yes, racism is sick and it fills you with anger but the greatest response now would be to come together as a collective and strive for more than what we have. I'm unsure of exact stats, but I'm pretty sure married parents are morelikely to stay together and provide a stable environment for their children and unmarried sex partners. And black people got married post slavery, so that's not a legitimate reason.
