Same. I've literally only known like 4 or 5 people that even heard of E.C. Illa. One of the first people I used to talk to online about hip-hop was an EC Illa stan, way back in the mid-90s, lol.

yeah, I got in an argument with someone one time because they swore that Evidence wasn't white and couldn't be considered a white rapper . Had that same argument last year with Caitlin Clark's NEW fanbase claiming I didn't like her because she was white and I asked him, "What is Diana Taurasi? Because I've been talking about her for damn near 20 years". Dude said to me, "Diana Taurasi isn't white".
