White people voted for Romney just cause he's white

But I read a statistic I thought was interesting. 89% of Romney's votes came from white people. 89% yet they like to claim black folks voted for Obama just cause he's black.

I think the 89% number is more telling than any number about black folks voting for Obama.

Not really, it's the same shyt.

Black people vote for the black guy, and white people vote for the white guy. But there were also plenty of white people who voted for the black guy, I can't say there were plenty of black people voting for the white guy.

Truth is most voters couldn't even tell you what they're voting for.

Obama was elected by a much more diverse group of voters, a better representation of the country. Romney got more votes due to his skin color than Obama.

I don't think that's the case, Romney got votes because he is a Republican, plain and simple, and those people just happen to be white.

It's pretty silly to think they only voted for him because he is white.

I know there are some respectable republicans out there that voted on the issues. But the majority of republican support comes from poor, uneducated, racist, white folks. Which is why they pander to that demographic so much.

I think it's very telling that given the diversity of America Romney only got votes from white people. To me that shows that his policy, and ideology was not very popular, but many white people just couldn't bring themselves to vote for the black guy.

If you take an Asian dude, a black dude, a Latino dude, and a white dude. Lets say they all work the same job, and make the same money, live similar lives and similar education levels. Why is it that the white guy voted for Romney and the rest voted for Obama?

The way I see it, Romney's policies would benefit how many people no matter what race realistically? Maybe at most 10-20% of the nation, and that includes rich "minorities."

No way do nearly 90% of white voters benefit from voting Republican. So 9/10 white people you run into are rich like that?

It has to be primarily about race and "traditional" American values for those that voted to the right.

You give the voter too much credit, most of them voters are very simple folks who vote off of three things.

I can agree with this, but I still think it's racialy motivated. These people you speak of are very likely to be racist, and they have always viewed a vote for republicans as a shot to diversity and change. They think all black people are on welfare spending their tax money. The republican party promotes this false narrative to gain their support.
