Yeah I've always noticed this as well. One of my white buddies I work with keeps his thermostat in the low to mid 60s with the ceiling fan running.
Where as I keep my place at about 72. Not to mention I'm always cold in the office this time of year, yet my white coworkers are perfectly comfortable. Probably doesn't help that they're all a little chubby and I'm lean.
