Man 'trapped teenage girls in Burger King toilet and exposed himself'

Police have released CCTV footage after a pervert repeatedly exposed himself to women and girls in a toilet at a branch of Burger King.

Two 16-year-olds were followed into a cubicle and trapped as the man exposed himself and made “sexually indecent gestures”, officers say.

A woman in her 30s was then subjected to the same ordeal at the fast food restaurant in Praed Street, Paddington.

Each time the culprit fled through a fire exit on the first floor.

Detectives believe the same man was responsible for the incidents in March, April and May.

Police today released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to over the incidents.

They also appealed for the 30-something woman to come forward, after she spoke to staff but did not contact police.

Detective Constable David Roberts, from Westminster's serious crimes unit, said: "We are releasing CCTV footage of the man in connection to this incident and are asking for the victim as well as witnesses to come forward.

"This type of crime is very upsetting for the victims; I am keen for anyone with information to please come forward. We will investigate every lead."

The two girls were targeted in the evening on Sunday, March 22 and Wednesday, April 15, police said.

The most recent incident involving the woman was on Saturday, May 16, at about 9.45pm.

The supect was described as a white man with short black hair, aged between 30 to 35, about 5ft 11ins tall with a stocky build, and believed to be of Eastern European origin.

At the time of the third incident, he was reportedly wearing a blue jacket with blue jeans, dark coloured shoes and was carrying a black bag.

THREE men have been caged for robbing and stabbing a man in a horrific attack in Clydebank.

Thugs William Brown junior, 33, and James Gallacher, 41, both of Overtoun Court, Dalmuir, and William Fraser Brown senior, 55, of Ashton View, Dumbarton, were all convicted by a jury following a trial last month at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.

This week the three were each jailed for a total of five years and each sentenced to a further three years on licence when they are finally released.

A sheriff was told that such were the length and depth of the severe gaping head wounds that the three inflicted on their terrified victim that it took two doctors to conduct an emergency operation to repair the massive cuts.

Brown senior and junior and Gallacher were found guilty by a jury of carrying out the chilling knife attack on a man on October 27, 2016, at a path adjacent to the Forth and Clyde Canal, near to Boquhanran Road.

The jury found the trio guilty of punching him on the head, knocking him to the ground and sitting astride him.

They pinned him to the ground and repeatedly struck him on the head and body with a knife to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement.

The three men then robbed the victim of a set of keys and £63 and left him in a pool of blood.

A knife-wielding thug was shot at after he slashed a woman’s hand in a doorstep attack.

The knifeman went hunting for an enemy on Christmas Day. But he turned up at the wrong flat and a fight broke out.


When the woman’s hand was slashed, a man from the block of flats appeared with a gunand started shooting.

The knife attacker – described by locals as a well-known thug – managed to escape with an accomplice.


It is not known if either of the pair were shot.

Police have been met with a wall of silence as they try to find out what happened.

A source said: “The guy with the knife is a well-known slasher who was hunting for someone else.

“For some reason, he went to the wrong door. He must be the unluckiest man in Scotland because he really picked the wrong block.

“A fight broke out and a woman’s hand was slashed pretty deeply.

“A guy then appeared with a gun and opened fire. The gunman is connected to various crime groups, although he was trying to keep his nose clean.

“Everyone knows to keep their mouth shut, but it all came about because of a case of mistaken identity.”

Family forced to flee after vandals torch cars outside Dumbarton home


Detectives have appealed for information after the incident in Carron Close, Springburn, Glasgow, at about 5.35pm on Christmas Day.

A resident in a nearby towerblock said: “I’m not surprised that this happened in that close.

“It’s the usual thing in Springburn, unfortunately. These guys don’t stop being bams for Christmas, it’s
full time for them.”

An area of grass outside the flats was taped off and put under police guard. Officers were stationed in the close.

A neighbour, who didn’t want to be named, said: “My wife and I heard loud bangs in the evening, but we assumed it was fireworks for Christmas.

“Then an hour or so later, we saw the police arriving and taping everything off.

“It is just shocking to think people are running around on Christmas Day trying to shoot each other.

“What sort of idiot does that? It’s sick on a day when people are supposed to be with their families and enjoying a special time.”

Detective Inspector John Morrison said: “This type of reckless and violent behaviour will not be tolerated and it is absolutely imperative that we trace the individuals involved.

“We are still working to establish a motive for this incident. There is nothing to suggest it is linked to any particular organised crime group.”
