You got a traditional VC and you have an accelerator program. He explains how both worked in detail.
At the end of the day, if you want capital, you have to have an idea, and a plan in place. Then you have to sell it. You have to network. You have to pitch. That's how most companies go from 0 - getting capital. Facebook didn't have much start up money. But eventually they got a VC that elevated them.
But again. You can't just have an idea and expect people to give you money.
Well, the person he was talking to implied that he got it out of the mud by stating "No" to the question about coming from money. This is all bed of roses and perfect scenario, what of those that cant afford basic capital? Folks who are getting it out the mud, its not just simple gimmicks and tricks
He said he wasnt rich but he also said he wasn't poor.Well, the person he was talking to implied that he got it out of the mud by stating "No" to the question about coming from money.
If all you can do is find out reasons for why you can't do something, then you will never be able to do it. You have to change your mindset and instead find out reasons for why you can do something.
ThisHe said he wasnt rich but he also said he wasn't poor.
reminds me of when Trump said he got started in real estate with just a small loan from his dad. (1 million dollars)
People like that have different metrics of rich and poor. By "not rich" he probably meant his parents were only single digit millionaires, not multi millionaires.
an obvious one though, anybody who tries to expand a single business into a chain of businesses is doing the same thing. How many people you know only own 1 mcdonalds? He has a point about stacking skills being able to replicate systems.
