okay, let's debate. sound between 5 and 9 hz will not make you shyt your pants. it's actually been tested many times by many different scientists in many different organizations. hell, in some they went all the way to 1 hz and/or all the way up to 20 hz and have found none of the spontaneous sphincter failure associated with the urban myth known as "the brown note". there, the debate is over.

most subwoofers have trouble with 50 hz, you don't realize what you have to do actually produce an 8hz sine wave

also people confuse the brown note with brown noise

just because you dial up 8 hz doesn't mean the sound is actually coming out
it would take an immensely powerful sub to produce that sound
