I personally have never heard Hillary even use the term alt-right; I'm sure she has before, but she certainly didn't use it often enough for the term's popularization to be traced back to her.

You're trying to suggest that Black people didn't use the term "alt-right" until Hillary/Democrats used it. You haven't really shown how that was the case. You just declared it, as if it's an immutable fact.
I could easily say that a more reasonable explanation is that they got it from the news, like everyone else.
1. No black person used the term before 2016, hell many non black people didn't even know the term existed until 2016. Now it's used constantly on the site. From a wiki page of it's definition
