Shyt is simple why I don't feel non-blacks should use the word...don't embrace my ignorance for your convenience, while undermining/not supporting/dismissing efforts that uplift me
At my old job, a cool white dude, who grew up in a mixed neighborhood would use that word
I told him I understand that's how he grew up, but if we're working together or socializing, and you continue to use that word, then we gonna have problems because I don't feel comfortable with non-blacks saying the word
We never kicked it like we use to after that, but I took a stand and did not blur the lines
How about complaining that Ross is not keeping that fake gangsta portrayal in the booth, which would result in a clear distinction between entertainment and real life. Which would help to minimize the conditioning of young black folks

why are you mentioning his outside the booth status?
Because we all been conditioned to use the outside the booth status as a measuring stick, thus why most rappers make sure to blur the lines between entertainment and real life
