That seems like more reason to not allow cancellations mid-ride, as it could escalate the situation. A report would have to be made to Uber anyway, so best to just make the rider request the refund after they're safe.

Without canceling the ride, there's no way to determine when the meter should've stopped.

Protocol is simple: get out the car, cancel the trip. Uber should require you state why you're canceling tho.

I am an uber driver. I dont have no camera, cameras are for cacs. If someone was honest and said they were broke id hook them with a ride because im a sucker and a nice guy like that

I have done about 550 trips wirh uber, ive never had any problems with people

So you would really purposely give somebody a ride for free even though they know that driving is your way of providing for yourself and/or your family and you could be spending that time you're wasting to actually make money? To each is own I guess. I just know that couldn't be me.

He still attacked him and her being drunk makes it even worse.

He said that he purposefully uploaded it to go viral. I don't know if he's gonna get fired though. It's on camera that he did not do any wrong unless you consider cursing at her as being wrong.

Don't want to really click it but how did she get a pick up without her card working in the first place? I use Lyft when I get my car rentals and you can't order Lyft without a card in the account and accepting point a to point b.

Nah, Uber policy doesn't allow drivers to carry firearms. That's why it's a dangerous job .
