Honestly, I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. There are more serious things to worry about than white people reciting the lyrics to rap songs. Have to say, there is a certain irony in it though. Black artists (and their Black fans to a certain degree) seek crossover appeal and success which ultimately means white people buying their product. White people ultimately are the majority of ones who support many underground based artists. Often enough that includes conscious, pro-Black artists. So it's ok for them to purchase the record, praise the record, support their shows.............just don't sing along. Ummmmm-kayyyyy. Yeah that makes total sense..........

This entire "N Word" debacle, is a case study of white people's complete inability to take "NO" for an answer. They can't take it, any explanation you give, goes in one ear straight out of the other. If they hear "don't do this" it just makes them want to do it even more. They're like children, or cats.

Now personally, I don't feel one way or the other with whites using the n word. Im not from the depths of hell offended over it, but Im also not charmed by it. Mostly because the ones I run up on always come off as tryhards trying to sound black, which always backfires because they almost always sound corny as hell to me. I feel the same way when white women put on a blaccent and call me "girlfriend" or "guuuuuuurl" Don't patronize me.

Listen it's one thing if somebody is reciting the lyrics to a song, but it's corny as fukk to hear white people saying nikka. I wouldn't know. That whole scenario runs into a whole host of other issues that I have with hip hop right now. How commercialized it has become. I don't plan on ever going to a Kanye or Jay Z rap concert because I don't feel like being around thousands of white people yelling the word in my ears like a KKK rally. I can't really say what other people should do, but I just know what I will and will not tolerate from others. A white person saying the n-word in my presence isn't something I'm going to tolerate.

During the part where he says, "MJ gone, our nikka dead" the crowd went noticably quieter on the "nikka dead" part because a huge portion of the crowd was white/non-black.

Kanye had the tour DJ stop the song and he forced the crowd to say "Our nikka dead" really loud and stress every word or else he wouldn't keep going. He had a huge grin on his face as he did it, too.
