They do, it's my main gripe with feminism and why I completely distanced myself from it. A lot of women use it as a means to "deal" with their issues or try to project them on to others to "deal with" instead of getting help from them

I suffer from bipolar and one of the most common things amongst people with bipolar during periods of many is engaging in self destructive behaviors, one being promiscuity. And I used to fall into that "anti-slut shaming" category, mostly because I felt personally attatacked until I finally started to deal with my problems by seeking a professional and not pseudo feminist talking points to "console" myself. There's nothing to gain from being promiscuous, it leaves you feeling worthless, used, lowers your self esteem even more etc makes it even harder to be taken serious etc there's nothing positive that comes from it, at all and it hurts me as someone who was like that to see other women telling other women it's okay and some how empowering when it definitely doesn't make you feel empowered, in the least. It's a dangerous self destructive cycle that just creates more self esteem and mental health problems that led to it in the first place

Its very true. To me there is a difference between casual relationships and sleeping around with nameless faceless individuals. There is something deeply wrong with that, and its obvious that type of behavior is to fulfill some type of void. Whether its to feel loved or to prove something and get props, its destructive. Even just the quest for it and not the actual fulfillment is destructive, look at all the young men out here killing themselves and sobbing making videos on the internet basing their whole life and self worth on the ability to get sex. I am still against the shaming though, just because the people who most do it won't do it to men, and even encourage that type of mental illness in men. Also I just think its pointless. Ridiculing someone with obvious issues even more isn't going to help them.
