I think the woman thought that HIV was pretty much a gay male disease and that by being a heterosexual female...she is at low to no risk. Also, some folks think HIV/AIDS is a disease that u can tell if a person has it by signs like sunken in faces, unhealthy weight loss, swollen glands, rashes, etc...which is totally untrue. She thought she was immune to STDs/HIV and eventually got infected.
I wonder how many men she passed it on to. Yes men can get it from women...blood, semen, vaginal fluids and breast milk carry the virus. A man can preform oral sex on her and have chapped lips, cuts/open wounds in mouth, etc. A man could have open wounds/cuts on his penis and the fluids can get thru there or the hole....or from the blood in her vagina if she is on her period.
