Saw it last night. Kind of reminded me in a way of Black Mass. Not the story as much as it's just kind of a lot of retelling of little events in a larger story

Not so much a huge build to a great movie moment as it is just a story.

Thought the acting was really good and it was well cast. Overall I liked it.

Movie was average. It's a Saturday night in at the crib movie.

Damn, this is the perfect way to describe it.

Good acting (the girl who played his sister was really good), but this shyt dragged on far too long in terms of the family narrative. They should have focused far more on his dealing stories. Plus, alotta scenes were misplaced, like when they were shooting up the rats in the alley. As was previously stated, they should have focused more on the gangsta shyt he got into.

But I 1,000% agree with this here, especially that diner scene:

yeah that little boy knocking and talking that talk was probably one of the best scenes in the movie.

I also liked the diner scene when both of'em at the car thief

....even as a junkie, she came out BUSSIN on some G-shyt.

the little boy who was hilarious that was his baby momma little brother. he my wife cousin. I got pics of him on my FB and everything from him staying with us over the years

That kid is a really good actor.

The first half of the movie is entertaining, once it moves away from his interactions with those drug dealers and feds... it turns into a flat, typical drug
dealer/crime film.

Second half feels like they didn't have a proper budget and/or they didn't want to go all the way with the real shyt.

this shyt is corny to me. This feels like one of those Dances with Wolves type of movies. Where the white male is in a foreign land being "normal" amongst a bunch of "different" people. Only thing good is they didn't make him a victim. And his blaccent was bad.
