Yea, some red wedding shyt..even tho no one “major” died...henry was kinda a shock, and I have a feeling Zeke will die at somepoint soon....i think it worked for the best with who they used tbh....very good episode.

I feel like that ending was just another cop out when it comes to major angles. It makes no sense to kill Rosita or Zeke now since that was their iconic moment, and killing them any other way won't hit as hard.

Rosita or Zeke needed to be on one of those pikes in order for it to truly hit.

If Maggie and rick, and later machone wasn't gone, about to leave I believe they would have killed rosita, or ezekiel to make it hit. But because rick wanted a break, Carl is gone, Maggie is gone, Jesus dead, and machone gone after next season, got to keep some guys around.

I hear that....but im not at that point in the comics, so since I figured Henry was taking Carl’s arch his death was shocking to me. Didnt think it would be this soon but im kinda glad it was. He was better than Carl, but still very meh.

You have to look at the roster as a whole, the reality is they won’t be able to follow the comics that much anymore. The roster is already weak, killing either of two makes no sense right now

The one major criticism I had with this season was I thought setting up bootleg Carl to be a focal point of the show was a misstep. Come to find out having to suffer through all those annoying scenes was part of a master plan of building towards the payoff of seeing his head on a spike.
