if so...

a generation later if that child who is technically "1/4 black," has a baby with a white female, is that baby still black?

if so...

how long can this bloodline continue to have babies by white mothers before the babies are no longer considered "black?"

would the bloodline be "black" no matter how many generations procreated with white women? or would the babies born eventually be white?

Social determinations will end up being responsible for racialization, even changing it up in particular contexts. Mowgli's child, for example, is genetically only 1/4th Black (being 1/2 Chinese and another 1/4th white,) but there are several social contexts in which his Blackness might dominate due to certain social determinations we currently operate with, and depending on his own identification- we all know that Gundam is probably rarely racialized Black despite being half, because he doesn't look it and refuses to identify with it. Tiger Woods is another example- he's only 1/4th Black, too, but is almost always racialized Black. A different society with a different history would racialize these people differently.
