Tical 2000, BTS and UC are very unappreciated albums any of those 3 would be good picks. alot of cats hated nikka Please, loved it i think its borderline genius

lol @ Pillage being better than Heavy Mental, that shyt was all beats with bath salt rhymes

Cappa was way more captivating utilizing his dusted, scatter brain flow than Priest was beating the listener over the head with his religious search.

I should have picked the Pillage just of the strength of 97 Mentality, Slang Editorial, and Black Boy.

You know what RZA had more production on that album than the other ones mentioned.

Although noone compares to the Abbot, True Master and 4th Disciple had great production on these second-wave Wu albums.

very true, dont forget Mathematics who played a huge part in Beneath

almost all of the albums on the list arent the same without True

Priest droned a bit on that album, hes gotten better with flows and cadence over the years.

i mean...i played it. but that shyt WAS NOT the crew album. you're right about that. that fukking song with the didgeridoo was the straw that broke the camels back in terms of crowd enjoyability.

the problem isn't that it was a bad album....it just wasn't as good as i expected. Priest was THE alpha affiliate. he wasn't supposed to let Cappa's album kill him like that.

Was still a more entertaining album
A lot of Heavy Mental was largely lounge music and bible class in rap form. Cappa was aight to downright awful on The Pillage, but the production and guest features alone make it a banging album

The Pillage is kind of underrated. It's probably my favorite Wu album production wise. Definitely a personal classic.

How could I forget Mathematics? :snoop:

And, shout-out to Tekitha for those soulful hooks. :ahh:

This was like like the only great song on Lex Diamond Story. :rudy:
