I always felt if you needed to free up the main event slots, you could pair the established guys who've done it all and do a year in tag teams and then break it off and hopefully have fresh opponents when they go back to singles.

As for a non super team, Kalisto and Apollo Crews. It's the classic power guy with the small quick guy. They both never have anything to do so I don't know why they won't give it a shot.

They never had Rock and Austin team up on PPV, BELIEVE THAT?? LOL

They were unofficial tag partners..when Austin got jumped, they chanted for the Rock almost every time post 99. Amazing when u think about it.
