If you're talking about reality, then it is PS2, hands down...like dude said they're still making games for it, and only recently stopped producing the system.

Personally, however I'd go with Game Boy. Thanks to the GBA's compatibility with the entire library I played the shyt out of older titles well after their release.

Well kinda. Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin is an expansion pack.
But yeah it's the PS2

PS2, but the sheer degree of difficulty of games for the NES will keep it in homes for several more years

I can't seem to remember now that you mention it... I was young so I wasn't able to buy the systems/games when they came out but it seemed like once my older brother bought a new console, the old one wasn't in play anymore. Dreamcast came out and I don't remember touching the 64 for a while.
i knew the dreamcast was dying, and i still bought one. it was a beautiful thing being able to buy new games for such a cheap price. then i ended up turning around and selling it and all my games to my cousin for like 25 bucks. being young and not knowing that i could burn all those fukkin games and be eating for years:troll:

Its easily the PS2

Do you guys even understand the question? Who the fukk is still playing PS2 games :stopitslime: I understand the ps3 didn't have a decent game for it until 2yrs into its cycle. But what did the ps2 have? God of War dropped right after the ps3 was released. Most people can't name another game. And realistically if you was still playin ps2 games when the ps3/360 was here? :deadrose:
Most gamers was not still playing ps2 games they already beat once the next gen started. Most people don't even have a ps2 that still works for it to have a shelf life. Thats more of a Nintendo exclusive with maybe a few genesis still working. The Disc Read Error fiasco disqualifies the ps2 from having a shelf life, then the fact you could download ps2 games via the ps3 is another reason why the shelf life for previous gens moving forward will be shorter. That's my 2¢

(And a new dreamcast game is made each year with around 10 slated for release this year)

I think the PS2 has got this. I remember hearing cats a couple years back talking about buying games for the 2 like it was still in style.

ps2 games rely on graphics, graphics that look worse by the year.

people will still be playing snes twenty years from now,(and paying insane prices for games) ps2 games?nope.

snes or nes are the only real answers. ps2 games will never hold the same value.
