It's Sunset Park. I just think it has higher highs. But my second favorite song on Above the Rim is...

I know a place where we can outside and have some fun...just you and me, together we are one and one..

ATR would have had potential to be neck and neck had the CD version been able to fit Pain. But it didnt. And Sunset park was dope as fidduk.

For future bouts:

Nothing to Lose versus Money Talks is a good one.

High School High vs. A Thin Line Between

And then In Too Deep vs. The Corruptor

PJ’s vs Big Momma’s House

Damn… i was the king of soundtracks in highschool. Lol.

.
those are good ones...we've been trying to figure what to pit the space jam soundtrack against too

Above the rim by a fukking mile… yall were better off comparing above the rim to thin line between love and hate tbh. Sunset park sound track is not hitting like that beside in NY smh. New jack city even has a better argument than sunset park 🤣
we're comparing 2 basketball movies with soundtrack :heh:

a thin line is very west coast :heh:...someone dont like east coast rap lol

I don't even remember the Sunset Park joint, I'll give it a run in the gym tomorrow.

ATR, Boomerang, and NJC are like my trinity of soundtracks.
Me neither

I wanted to be nice but why Sunset park exist, other than to give Carla from Cheers a job?

Black youth lose a lot we get it, didn't need to see a movie about it.
