Which short actor should play Wolverine in the MCU?

This is a spin-off of a side discussion that started in the WandaVision thread.

The one knock that a lot of comic book fans had with Hugh Jackman's casting as Wolverine was Jackman's height. Jackman is 6'3 while Wolverine (according to Marvel Comics) is supposed to be 5'3.

Now that The X-Men are under the Disney banner it is inevitable that Wolverine will be showing up in the MCU sooner rather than later and Jackman has reportedly said he is done playing the character which means a new actor will be cast and that opens up the opportunity of a more comics accurate depiction of Wolverine.

So who are the actors who are close enough in height (I would say between 5'3 and 5'7) who could pull off the role? Here are 10 height appropriate suggestions:

If being close to height accurate is going to be one of the casting criteria they are going to have a hard time finding the right actor in my opinion.

Supposedly Jackman has no interest in playing Wolverine anymore and in the WandaVision thread there was a discussion about a more comics accurate version of the character in the MCU which is what spurred the creation of this thread.

Thomas Payne may be interesting

I think he has the ability to pull it off acting wise.
And based on how Kumail Nanjani transformed physically I have no doubt the MCU strength and conditioning team would get him jacked in no time.

Since I’m hoping for a traditional teenage X-Men. I think a 30ish Wolverine would work.

He doesn’t need to be short short but a stocky, beefy Wolverine would be great.
