Off GP Scoring a goal in hockey is more difficult :manny: I do like that they both broke records tho because always viewed Ovi as the LeBron of hockey to Crosby's Kobe

I'm going with Bron because 99% of NBA players don't even make it to 35 while being a top 50 scorer in the league.
They also aren't born with demigod genetics :dahell: that's a BIG reason why he's able to play this long, he's more of an Ironman of the NBA in that regard.

Ovi actually LOST seasons and still broke the record, that shyt is ridiculous in a game where scoring low to begin with :wow:

I'll go with Ovechkin because the all time scoring record in basketball never really seemed like a hallowed record, because in basketball, cumulative stats aren't really regarded.

Plus in hockey, Gretzky really is looked at as the greatest of all time whereas Kareem is not. So beating out in the GOAT in your sport, in a meaningful statistic, carries more weight

Scoring 27 a game>>>> scoring a goal every 3 games
