i tried listening to alot of Spitta shyts, but all his content sound the same.. his flow can get redundant as hell.. :wow: seems to me, as his production carries a huge bulk of his work..

to each their own, though..

I think sonically, MBDTF is a masterpiece.. I bumped that album all last Spring/Summer, off production alone..

How has he fallen off though? If anything his popularity and 'stock' has been steadily rising for the past 3 years. He has never been this popular, this talked about, this acclaimed. Just a couple weeks ago people were being amazed by yet another product from him. I can understand not liking him, but he isn't anywhere near the realm of falling off right now

Yea I feel u..he's not for everybody but he says a lot of clever shyt...his delivery masks it..and I don't know fam...MDBTF lacks soul and substance to me...shyt feels hollow..

never was the biggest fan of alot of the lyrical content on MBDTF, but that production :lawd:

i had a older amp, and speakers at the old crib.. and, man.. that sh!t sounded amazing.. i just took Music Appreciation for one of my humanities classes, so going back and listening to it now makes me appreciate alot of the production on it as well..

whats the best Curren$y album/mixtape..? I checked out that Harry Fraud sh!t, and wasnt impressed whatsoever..

:comeon: i aint talking his popularity.. I"m talking about his MUSIC.. alot of his projects, are carried by the production.. people talk more about the people he's collaborating with, more than his lyrical content.. why I'm explaining something so trivial, is beyond me..

Strange you should say that because I think his last couple of mixtapes are almost as good as Kush and OJ and that project he did with Snoop was surprisingly dope. I would say Khalifah (from a musical standpoint) is rising.

Its funny, im still a fan of him. And I know what he is trying to do. He is slowly leaving rap. Sonically the kid is getting much better. But lyric wise he is falling off incredibly. The shyt he was spitting on Currensy last album :stopitslime:

He going the Andre3000 lane, but without the lyrics

Lupe will never fall off commercially as long as he is signed to Atlantic
Lyrical rappers never really fall off creatively anyways
