i was actually a poster on here myself who wasn’t against interracial relationships period, i just believed most people date their own and they’re nothing wrong with that. and it wasn’t cause i wasn’t attracted to black men either or was flat out “i’ll never date a black men!” it’s just for cultural reasons and also because at the time there’s a lot of shyt that comes with white women dating black men.. and we may not want to subject them to our racist families we know we have. i know what and which families members i could have my ex around that wouldn’t make me feel super ashamed or i wouldn’t have to worry about saying things i would then have to turn into a “bytch” and say something because i’m the type of person who will interrupt a big family table meal and say something.
then later on you got your other white family members trynna gaslight you about you speaking up and you’re wrong.. this is how it goes.my ex treated me like dirt but i never have and would ever allow someone, a family member to use our relationship to push their racist shyt on me and they have tried before.
so for black people it isdifferent because of white supremacy so i can understand why it’s so looked down upon, where as with other races.... not so much.
