Probably Cole's best album to date still was just alright.

If you could take all the best songs from his mixtapes he would have a classic

Big Sean by default

West Philly aka Illadelf aka Tha 215
Weed Plate Paradise aka Dim Sales Projections aka Flabby Sick Paradise is by far the best album by Smedium Sean aka MC Generic NBA 2K Custom Player aka Brick Sean aka Sean Dud aka Twig Sean aka Big Sambo aka Big Yawn :wow:

But it doesn't match up to Ny Quils Drive aka Ambien Hills Drive aka Insomnia Pills Drive aka Snorefest Hills Drive aka Borefest Hills Drive by Gay Cole aka Mary Kay Cole aka Zzz Cole aka Diet Nas Lost Lite Zero aka Mos Not Def aka Snooze Doggy Dogg aka the leader of NyQuil By Nature aka Masta Ambien aka Sleep Louch aka Jay Insomnia :russ:

Too bad the 2013 AOTY & solo AlbumOTDecade MCHG by the GOAT our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd bodies both them shyts (not to mention their combined catalogs)

Snorefest Pills Drive is better for the very simple reason that it was released under the G.O.A.T. label and greenlighted by our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior King Hova da Gawd and his minions at the Roc Nation offices. If it wasn't for our G.O.A.T.'s co-sign and label deal Gay Cole, AKA Nap King Cole, AKA Mobb Sleep, AKA Snooze Doggy Dog, AKA modern day P.M. Dawn, AKA Young Sleepy, AKA Black Counting Sheep, AKA Shawty Bedd, AKA Pillow Smith, AKA Keith Night Sweat would be working a shytty Communications job making $35,000 somewhere in New York.

FHD still getting heavy rotation, still selling, is historic by going platinum (before the bullshyt streaming rules) without any guests on the album, came with a legendary and documented tour, elevated J. Cole as one of the elite rap stars in the game (and sold more that Kendrick's TPAB. Also it is a more complete and conceptual LP.

DSP was great for the several hit singles and it is a dope LP for what it is, but it was way too short and never had that magic that captivated the nation of hip hop fans like J. Cole LP did. You got visitors coming to Fayetteville to this day just to go to that house, some even to sit on top of the rooftop.

FHD was on another level.

How claim one album is better but unpopular!? Popularity have to be included. If the majority of the fans feel an album THAT MUCH that it got visitors from other states visit the home to reinact the album cover. That speaks volumes.

And this isn't manufactured popularity that industry back which I suspect Big Sean was, but virtually grassroots off mainly word of mouth.

Big Sean had a lot of hit singles with plenty of features and his main success was based around having who's who in the industry. Cole was basically on his own and make a more complete and grossly more successful LP.
