The new posters join date ain't adding up. What's going on?

Technically, these posters aren't "new" in the sense they just registered today or yesterday.

The ones recently approved registered before/during the period when they closed registration and were just finally approved now.

So their join date shows when they originally signed up, but they just got posting privileges recently.
