Honestly I gotta go with the one I would have thought would never happen just a few years ago: Nas/Premo. I think Life Is Good convinced Nas what works for him and what doesn't. He specifically told Premo his beats didn't really fit the style of that album, and I think his next (not including the next Def Jam album) will be a collab with Premo that they use to tour the country/world

If he wants Nas can make a shyt ton of money by dropping a dope album with Premo, then touring nonstop with him

lol @ Nas and Mobb Deep. Is Mobb Deep even still together?

In any case, Prodigy is a far cry from what he was as a rapper. I'm not sure if I want to hear him...maybe Nas might give Prodigy that fire back...who knows...

...but a Nas/Mobb Deep album is the least likely.

Didn't Q-Tip and Common want Nas to join them in some sort of super group?

I honestly believe none of these projects are going to cross his mind, but if I had to choose one it'll be the Premier LP. Long overdue, Premier spoke on it already, Nas already performed with him earlier this year, they enjoy working together, etc.

The same could be said for the Common LP...

Also, does Premier still got it in him to cook up a dish in 2012 brehs? :dj2:

Don't care for any of these

Nas/Preme is most likely

since everybody else (Common, Jay) are too busy with other stuff

and the rest of 'em are flabby n sick

Don't think he'll do another Distant Relatives cos he's always on that "evolving as an artist" sh!t

would love to see another track with Scarface and Amy

Preme says he's a 100% sure they're doing the album together, Nas says they have "something cookin"

There's a reason why they've been in the studio together multiple times within the past year and not one of those tracks made Life Is Good. Premo fell off years ago and Nas knows it.

yall say prem fell off and makes the same beats over and over but that nikka beats age very well. all his songs with nas are still enjoyable 2 this day and dont sound dated. i think the album with him and prem would be cold if they do it.

Nas is the type of rapper who's always moving forward and trying to evolve as an artist so why would he want to go back and recycle the same shyt? When he gets in the studio he's always trying to create something fresh and new which is why he's had so much longevity in the game.

But the main problem people have with Premo isnt that he hasnt switched up his formula or evolved at all in the past 20 years.. if he was still dropping Mass Appeal or 10 Crack Commandments type of beats every few years people would look past that and give him his props.

The reality is his new music just flat out sucks compared to his earlier material. He went from dropping multiple classic beats per year like it was nothing to having maybe 2 or 3 beats (im being generous) in the past 10 years that are even worth remembering. When you take that into account and remember that he's using the same drum kits/drum patterns/chopping methods today that he used to make Illmatic, it's easy to see why people say he fell off and artists he used to work with like Jay-Z and Nas want nothing to do with him :wow:

Nas/Amy or DR2 would be most likely

Nas/AZ is like Roy Jones vs Bernard Hopkins II. It may happen, but it will be about 15-20 years too late and at a point where nobody will give a fukk.
