Old Man Michael is intimidating af and mean spirited as hell, even if I think Kills is weak something about that version of Myers hits different. He’s as vicious as the Zombie film versions with none of the same baggage
Smh. They have zero appreciation for the artistry - they didn’t want to see a psychological existential experience that was Michael 2007; they just wanted to see the shape of the “thing” that slashes and not the man behind the motives. He wasn’t just a mindless murderer; he was pushed to the edge of what his mental level couldn’t handle. Michael needed a backstory that went beyond the Babysitter Massacre and sister murderer. H2007 required a deeper level of insight - But everyone can’t see our vision

A lot of didn’t need or want to see all that applied to Michael Myers. A lot of people thought that giving him a backstory, much less that backstory, took away his mystique and made him less of the Shape and more like a regular, run of the mill killer.
I liked Zombie's 2007 Halloween but did not like the sequel with that white horse shyt and Dr. Loomis being a celebrity
